Jennie Bentley joined Panthers in 1989 to work in the Panthers Marketing Team. Whilst there, she completed her university studies and left in 1996 to pursue her career as a journalist and editor.
Experiencing the special way that things worked at Panthers she believed that there was as story worth telling.
Years later, when hearing Roger Cowan’s thoughts that the Panthers story needed to be told, she jumped at the chance.
Jennie now lives in the Hunter region of NSW. She continues to write, with her main focus on all things Italian.
After completing Panthers, Passion and Politics in 2007, she decided to explore her passion for Italy. She studied the Italian language at a university in Perugia, Umbria, then lived the Italian life in San Feliciano village on Lake Trasimeno for four months. For more than ten years, she has taught Italian – with U3A, and now privately.
She is currently working on a blog.
Wait for news of her textbook, Learn Italian with Jennie, which is almost completed.
